Arthritis Sucks but I did get a Deadlift PR


I've been in pain for 2 days thanks to the stupid cold damp weather. Every fall and spring I'm reminded that yes I do have arthritis and my shoulders ache to the point that my mood turns dark, I become a grouchy a'hole (I have that reaction to 24 hour pain). However, the worst part is that is limits my ability to push myself in my workouts and I even have to skip workouts. For example, unless things clear up over night I'll probably have to skip my swimming workout tomorrow. Anyway on to more positive things.

Today I did make Betty and forced myself to do the max one rep deadlift workout. I regretted it for the last 4 hours thanks to should pain but I am happy with the results.

I can't believe I managed to deadlift that much the day after max back squats and amid my shoulder issues. Makes the pain worth while.
